I was considering buying a Gohbee but noticed lately that there has been a diminishing interest on Runryder. Since September 1st there have only been 10 new posts, what is up?

Most (not all) of what you see on the forums is people asking how to fix things.

The new Phazor 600 really does not need any fixing, and everything fits together like it should.

Gohbee has been making great strides in improving quality.
While other US heli brands are sending more of their parts to Asia, Gohbee has been bringing more parts back to be made in the USA.

I own many brands of heli and my Gohbee Stinger 50 still gets 90% of the airtime. Not because I'm a rep, but because I really like the way it flies.

I don't agree, although a lot of questions are asked, one of the main questions is "Should I get this heli, or another." I personally think less people are flying their Gohbee's which is leading to less exposure, and less repair questions.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, good, bad or indifferent.

But strong sales suggest things are still going good at Gohbee and there are just not a lot of questions right now.

I can not positively say why others are not asking questions. It could be because of a good manual with lots of pictures to make assembly clear, it could be because things are fitting together well, it could be because quality has improved a lot over the years, I can not say for sure but I think that in this case, no news IS good news.

Gohbee is also developing a new 50 size nitro helicopter that's going to be very nice. All good things take time! He's making the transition from importing kits to developing his own kits AND manufacturing most of the kit in the USA.

At a recent event in our area, we had 25 pilots, 4 Phazors and 1 Stinger 50 in attendance, so they are out there. The Phazor flies absolutely great, so don't let the lack of traffic on a forum deter you from picking up a great flying good quality helicopter.

I'm waiting on the nitro Phazor so not alot for me to talk about as of late. I still get the great customer service that I am accustomed to every time I talk to Dave. I can go a couple of months between orders and he still recognizes my voice and remembers my name.

What battery are you thinking about using? 8S power is great! Add the full metal head and On Edge dampers and it'll be a beast.

Hey ZG72.....

I've had a stinger 50 for about 2 years now and couldn't be happier
with it and the customer support all the way around...
I am also waiting for the ...'Stinger 600' or was it..... the
'Phazor 50'....????

I think it's kinda like Jeff said....people who own Stingers are
more often.....out flying them... than they are taking about them.

You can always get help ...if not on one of the forums...
you can actually call and talk to the ...owner....of the company...
It doesn't get any better than that....and he is a really nice guy to boot !

I am already using 8s 3700ma Outrage Batt's on my Mikado Logo 500 so I would probably use those on a Phazor 600.

If you notice this same question has been ask on about every manufacturing forum. It must be the time of the year and maybe a slowing economy but it does not mean that a certin heli is going out of business. You can buy with no fear of being stuck as the Gohbee is hear to stay.

Howdy all! To be frank, things have slowed down here a bit....but not to worry. I don't think things are all that different for other companies as well. As Alan (Wrenflyer) mentioned, we are transitioning our business and so I'm very excited about our future. Thanks for everyone's continued support! Our transition will take time but I think the short term pain will be well worth it in the long haul. In the meantime, keep those cards and letters coming!

Thanks,
David

I'm not much into posting just flying, but I can say I really love the Phazor everytime I fly it I like it more. I also have a T600E which I have no plans of getting rid of however if I had to get rid of one it would be the Rex. I also have a Stinger 50 I've been flying for three years and have been very happy with it also. David has always been very helpful and parts are cheap and always available.

cughe,

If you're only needing the retaining mount or spacers then we have those in stock. The 50149 Retaining Mount and the 10226 spacers and the 50148 side plates make up the 50171. We're missing the side plates. As soon as we have those in we'll be shipping again, hopefully next couple of weeks.
