Only if no one flys higher than 6'. Most out of control crashes come down vertically from what I've seen! It looks great though!

Mike,

O.k. Smart ass. IF its a taxiway, its ****, because its only a piece of fabric or plastic nailed down over top of dirt and rocks, kinda like the pits, and how can you tell if thats a run way or a landing pad, you can't see far enough to the right in the picture. Also, I dont see a plank anywhere in the picture, just heli's.

To me, it looks like walkway to keep dust down and a landing pad to mark were it is o.k. to launch and land from, otherwise people would go 5 feet in front of the fence and go at it.

dont get all ruffed up guys. this is a heli only facility. the long pit and taxi ways are for walking only and the main flying station is out of sight on the right side. also there are 2 hover stations.

we are next to Irvine lake in OC.
here are a couple more shots, this project is not comp-lete but we are currently flying here. one view shows the planker area off to our east and the other shot is our field.

material at heli pad take off area has its edges buried and anchored then the soil is replaced and compacted, this whole site was compacted and rolled before petro mat was layed.
