I am thinking about buying an electric heli and have my eyes set on the hummingbird. I do think I will be doing some advanced manuevers with the littlebird, and therefore would probably like collective. The hornet and piccolo birds seem a bit frusteration to use, and havent read too many good comments about them than to the hummingbird.

I hear there is a collective upgrade for the hummingbird comming out soon. When? I would much rather buy the whole package with the collective than to mess around with the fixed pitch.

Thanks!!
Pete

SEE MY PICS

With some minor modification its possible see my Gallery. Note especiallyl the use of a paper clip to extend the swash plate guide, and the servo position also use car mirror pads to secure the servo as they have a stonger bond than standard servo tape and are much thinner

It was my understanding that the Hornet CP parts are the easiest to add for CP conversion. Have only seen one done this way though.

Well I cant speak for the Hornet cp kit, but fitting the Piccolo kit was sure not that hard a job. it probably takes only a little longer than fitting the kit to a stock piccolo, the only real issue was extending the swash plate antirotation giude. I might make a how to guide send it to helihobby and e-flight.co.uk if there is any real interest and I find the time. Right now im having problems with my CSM200 and my tail motor voltage, and am having to make a voltage regulator.
