New Beam landing gear with a nice aggressive look. We will have to see if it is harmful to the frame. It does flex though.

Anyone know how the weight compares to the stock skids (which I broke)? I'm currently using the super skid struts (neon yellow) with the original BEAM pipes.

How do you mount these to the frame? Looks like you need a nut and bolt but its not included in the package. Am I missing something?

Wow.. I was going to pick up a set, but didn't know how they'd look. I like 'em. They look like they have a wider, more aggressive stance than the stock.

Do they clamp the struts tight so they don't rotate?? I always hated the way some of the plastic landing gear allowed the skids to rotate due to vibrations in flight.

not so tight

They do not clamp real tight, but they are not real loose either. I think that as annoying as it is the looseness plays a factor when
landing hard.

Yeah. I always liked the landing struts with the lockscrew.. I've done that to a few of my smaller helis just because I hate when you're bangin' it around and then when you come in to land and notice that one of your skids are upside down and you have to land all funny so it doesn't tip over. Haha. Maybe it's just me, but mine have done that before. Quite annoying.
