I went with the G10 version because I didn't think CF was worth an extra $50. In this size heli, I don't think there's a whole lot of difference strength-wise. The radio-transparency is just a side benefit.
Just for clarification guys.....We are stocking two versions of the ATOM.....the difference is more than just the frame construction. The G-10 version comes with an 8 tooth pinion and 40 amp ESC. The Carbon Fiber version has a 9 tooth pinion and an 60 amp ESC. I wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of what you get for the difference in price.
I got mine when the only difference was the frame material. I like the G10 better. You used to get a 60 AMP speed control and and 8 and 9 tooth pinions. When are you guys gonna come up with some better head dampeners? The o-ring set up leaves much to be desired.
