I have a 3d micro, and have just done brushless conversion, with medusa motor with 8T gear and Castle Phoenix 10 ESC. I have ordered Castle Link programming kit, to help slow down headspeed.
The only reason I've done the conversion is for durability. My first stock motor has just died. But I find the brushless way more difficult to operate. I'm afraid that I will have to get a stronger tail motor, to help keep the tail steady
