| What is happening is the third needle is moving due to the threads cut on the needle are very clean same for the carb body which allows the needle to move, what TT is doing now is to apply blue lock tite to the threads wipe clean so only the threads are filled in and let dry, then reinstall the needle the gap for this needle is 1mm, set the low flush this will solve the problem of the migrating needle, ONLY DO this if and only if you are adjust the low from one flight to another,

Both our Redlines are working flawlessly with no binding. Still running the old carb too, but if it ever acts up I'll certainly do the nice easy loctite thing as advised. Actually I'll keep that clever idea in mind for other carb applications. The engine seems to thrive on 30% Cool Power. I had to use CA on my lawboy's plastic carb jet threads for a similar reason...never moved in 6 years!
