Yep, just like Tryan's "did you fly?", only different.

This includes:

Buy.
Gather / Shop for equipment.
Assemble / Build
Set-up.
Screw-up.
Test flights.
Tweak.
Repair.
Upgrade.
Downgrade.

Great idea Mike. I have nothing to report at this time, but the day is still young and I have a few packages awaiting my attention. More later.......

Just got done soldering some connectors on my new batts. We have been without power here in Louisville since last Sunday and have been waiting impatiently.

I hate when I get done soldering a wire and realize I forgot to put some heatshrink on.

All is good now, just need a charger to charge two at a time

Happy flyin yall

Kevin

Put a new main motor in the 4#3 today.
Got one flight, and the tail started acting up.
I need to work on the way the tail mount is mounted to the boom, it doesn't stay put.

If it isn't one thing, it's 3 others with this heli.

I really need a decent indoor heli.
But I'm broke.

and I really do want that new Gibson LP Studio

My birthday is on Thursday, and for my birthday I'm getting my youngest daughter a Strat. We have the same birthday. She can use the Strat more than I can use the LP.

The heli budget is screwed for a while.

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission.

Happy early birthday 2old (and daughter)!

Spent a lot of time with the T500 today. Covered and routed the servo wires. Got the Rx and gyro installed. Started playing with the setup for the gyro. I am very impressed with the gyro. The software setup is not required but gives you info on the programed endpoints, gyro direction plus a bunch of other settings to tune the gyro behavior.

I'm still waiting on the copper tape. As soon that arrives, I'll need to dissasemble the tail and get it installed. That's the last item keeping the T500 grounded.

I just got 2 big honkin batteries. Now I gotta adapt them to my 10s ... why can't all the battery companies decide on just one balance connector???

I also got my new TX LiPo so that will be better. Having to go back to the NiCd sucked.

Boy, this thread will Balloon bigger than the other one.

This AM: tied up servo wires on Belt CP before taking to field and finding out, I forgot to insert the screw to hold the servo on.
Lunch time: Tried to fix a broken tail rotor on the Exceed G2.
Tonight: Fix the Belt CP servo w/ a screw and test fly in the backyard. Fix the Tail rotor of the Exceed G2.

I'll add a flight status for the fleet of rotory wings......

Flight status:
Exceed Blueray 450 PE : Flyable
TT Raptor 30 V1 : Flyable, plan to add HH gyro
Belt CP: Need to screw on the servo arm
Exceed G2 : Need to fix tail rotor and get first flight after the brushless upgrade
Hummingbird FP : Flyable
Esky Lama V3 : waiting on replacement 4in1 controller for the one that burnt up.

Oct 13th is my last weekend on the big boat and I should have my gas cat boat in the 75+ mph range I hope before the season is over... Time to get buying and building helis is coming fast....
