You are gonna love your Beam E4 from the first time you spool it up and realize its the best 450 class heli you have ever flown. They are so smooth its scary.

I noticed that the screws on the washout and flybar are different than on mine did you get those from something else? And the tail housing has screws that hold the bearing in on the tail blade side Mine does not. Mine the cnc machining left an edge so the bearing would not come out from that side. No big deal just wondering if this is a new version.

My screws on the washout and flybar are the same as Locktites. Mine also has the screws that hold the brarings on the tail case. Locktite and I bought our E4's at the same time so that makes me think that there are some new parts in the kits.

I bought my kit in May and it looks like it has all of the same screws this one has. It does have the tail bearing retention screws for sure. Ill have to look at the flybar cage. It may have socket head cap screws there

I bought my kit on February 1. My flybar cage has black socket heads holding it together and the washout mixer arms screws are black phillips heads. My tailbox has the bearing retaining screws also.

Jetleaf,

Mine is just like yours.

I wonder if those new round or truss head socket drive screws on the mixer arms are to address the problem a few people had with the mixer arms pulling off over the bearings???

I would like to have a few of those. It really doesnt look like the diameter of the head is quite big enough to prevent it from happening....but it might be..

A properly sized flat washer would do the trick too.

Jimmy

Here are some action pictures of my E4 today..First day out with it and it flies great but I still need to dial in my Hitec gyro..I am very happy with the heli..I got so low in the first picture I bogged the head down in the grass and was able to save it, while breaking a piece of the tail blade.. Enjoy the pictures..I will have a little video footage up as well soon..
