Yes I know that PNP means "plug and play". But it seems that term has been used do describe varying stages of "RTF"
1 - Assembled with motor and ESC 2 - Assembled with motor and ESC installed 3 - Assembled with motor, ESC and battery pack 4 - Assembled w/motor, ESC, servos & BP 5 - Assembled w/motor, esc, servo, gyro & BP 6 - etc.
I was asking which of the above does he consider PNP
As Century does offer all of their Swifts in various combos using these components:
1 - Swift 16 kit or ARF, Swift 550SE, Swift 620SE 2 - 550+, 600+, 650 (550KV) & 650 (800KV) 3 - 55A ESC, 80A ESC & 85A High Voltage 4 - Electron 4S/3300, Evo4S/3700, Evo5S/3700, EVO6S/3700 & 5000 and TP6S/5000
IMHO, if someone already has a radio with heli software built in, and his own servos, he is better with one of the many combos offered..then with the RTF.
As it is now, the RTF is for the newbie who is starting from scratch. As he progresses he can get better radio and gyro and battery packs without much of a hit to his Visa card . |
