I guess i'm spoiled with the ccpm stuff nowdays But on with my question. I've got an old concpet and my Dad had a light crash with it . Usual crash part replacement .

I can't remember how I set the pitch up on this thing for the life of me . Do we use the same theory behind the ccpm setup , mid stick 0 pitch ? I can't seem to get to that point . The best I could do was 0 deg at mid stick +8.5 top and - 3 on the bottom . I had to make new linkage from the mixing arms to the blade grips to achieve that much . Something just does'nt seem correct with this setup . Reason for making ne linkage was to achieve the +and _ and 0 in the middle the ball links had to be screwed almost all the way out so I made a new set to reach the point i'm at now .

Where are you guys at on your pitch setup ????????????????

Mixing arms level at mid stick if that makes any difference . Nothing bent or broken .Any idears ?

I think the manual recommended 5.5 pitch at middle stick, Then
with about 8.5 at the top is correct.

Concept pitch set-up

Did you compare lengths of mainshaft before replacement? There are at least 3 different lengths I know of.
I don't mean to brag but I got +9 and -7. It requires machining the pitch slider, It's way too thick.

Yes I have the srt mainshaft in it , i'm aware of the different length shafts . How did you machine the pitch slider ? Where are the linkage rods coming off the mixing block connected to ,because they are in the top of the pitch slider .

My concept 46VR has about +11,0,-11. I think you can put the 46VR pitch slider on the SRT!

WHat purpose would it serve to put the VR pitch slider on it ? I don't think I would want to turn one of these floppy ears birds upside down .

well i flip mine over all the time! Where is your sense of adventure? My 46 VR flips and hovers inverted quite well! The VR pitch slider gives you more pitch travel because its a narrower profile!

What spindle setup is in the VR ? 1 piece spindle ? SRT has 2 piece which makes it a floppy . Parts are getting harder to come by for these old dudes so I don't wanna try things that may result in a crash . That'.s what my 600N's are for

Its a dual spindle like the srt but it uses NO dampers at all so its complete free flapping! I actually have two 46VR's and one has the upgraded Zeal head which is a single spindle design! There is a guy in the U.K who gets spindles and main shafts made from a local engineering copmpany for the old concepts! He also has alot of parts in stock too. Check it out:

Quickster is right.
To have a full working concept 30 pitch range you need to get the pitch slider set (H3122) and a mixing base (H3115). If you are using a sr-t mast, you can use the 46VR or the Nexus mixing base (H3304).

Where did you find a Zeal head with a single spindle? All of them are using two. I'm talking about the Z31, Z32 and Z33 head. It's true that only the Z31 one is a flapping head.
