My Posts This: Topic Forum | When you see the video, Mitch, you'll be a believer. It's a combination of a great pilot and near perfect set-up. Were you doing 'punch-outs' in normal or stunt? With 100% throttle in stunt I can't see how a gear could be stripped; in normal mode maybe. I'm only in normal mode to take off and land. You still need just the slightest bit of play 'almost unnoticeable' between the pinion and main gear. As I said earlier in my post about installing the HDX in a blade, this outrunner can push a 10t and there's no bog (I'm not sure with your heavy batteries). The possible problem with an 11t is that full collective moves might end up being slower with the 11t than the 10t. That's what I found with the Feigao main motors on the other two helis; that the 9t produced the faster a collective than the 10t. I think that diesel's got the line on set-up with these things. |
