Heli Expo 2009 is this weekend and I'm really looking forward to getting some closeup photos of a EC135. This build has been on hold too long.

If you have been to Heli Expo I'd but it on my list of events to attend. They had two EC135's and 145's with full access. I have all the info I need to construct the parts that I've need on hold for a great info for a future project. You really have to be up close to really see what these birds are about. Thanks HAI and Eurocopter

Builders block.

I've outfitted a HC Rigid and have almost dialed in. Now I need to get the build bug back or IRCHA 2009 isn't going to happen.

IRCHA 2009 will not be. I'm just not into building right now. All in due time, but I do have some new custom parts on the way

Lost another S9206 today. This marks the second servo failure. The first after heli wasn't flown for some months and today just after a 10 min. flight upon power up. The servo doesn't respond to TX inputs. Heli electronics: JR R921 RX and daul NiMh 4-cell 2500.

At this point I'm sure the others will also fail. Looks like a full servo replacement is on the table (S9206 not an option).

Anyone have this experience with S9206 after power up?

I use 4 JR DS8311's in my 135 on collective/cyclic, never had a problem with a JR servo in 20+ years of flying, swear by them.

The work shop is open. This weekend’s goal: reduce the stock fuselage gap at landing gear mounts by ¼ inch.

2 years are really long time but your work is beautiful! I spent abt 60 days to paint my Hughes-500D.

Do you know anyone who made the fan is driven by belt or do you have any information abt it? Thanks in advance.
