My Posts This: Topic  Forum		OK....I've got it bad.....I used to wake up thinking about HELICOPTERS...then think about them all day, then go to bed thinking about helicopters.

NOW this HUMMINGBIRD comes out and at least now I can PLAY with one while I watch TV.

WELL that was what I thought.......

And as has been explained...it takes a little time to get the hang of it...But JUST when I was getting the hang of it.....BAM.....MY TV and the HUMMING BIRD become...well...LOVERS.....

AFTER the dust settled...ONE of my blades was broken...about 1 inch from the end. (As info...it will not fly that way..TRUST ME...and if you chop off the other one the same amount to even it out...well it will not fly that way either.)

OK...so...do I call up Centruy and get some more STOCK blades??? or have y'all found something out there that's better?????

Thanks....I'm enjoying myself so much....and as others have expressed...I really think this will make you a better flyer....can't wait for the weekend.

I caught the damn bug too. I have set up a Piccolo Pro (3-D ready) as well as a hummingbird. I like them both. As far as the Hummingbird goes I stick to bone stock, blades and all. That way you can bend the tips to get a bit more flight time. Now the Pic is a different story, I have gone WAY overboard with this thing. I have to say though that it actually flies like a real heli now. Brushless, Lith Ion batteries, metal head, all carbon fiber, custom canopy, the works! I am about to start painting micro canopies as well.

Let me know how the Hummingbird fairs as days go on.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have had nothign but problems with the stock H-B blades. Chipping the ends when hitting something will happen with about any blade, so perhaps it would be best to stick with the stock blades until you get the hang of it.

I used to strike the blades together in mild tip-overs and they would break. I think I had my blades too loose because it was real inconsistant and I began to notice that they would break when left loose.

I have switched to Hornet fixed pitch carbon fiber blades and increased my pinion because they need a higher head speed. I have been lucky enough not to even have a tip-over since installing them so I can't say about their durability, but they have to be more durable than the stock blades.
