I love the HD vids you are doing!
Why so large though? I usually download, then convert to apple format(so I can watch them thru AppleTV on my large 1080P LCD TV. The filesize jumps from 140MB down to about 50MB without hardly any loss in quality.

While this doesn't mean much for me (storage wise) - I'm sure it would really help you with bandwidth if you used Apple format instead of wmv.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		No.. I don't own a mac - I have 5 PC's in the house.

However, iTunes is our media player / organizer (also own about 4 iPods and an iPhone). But nothing beats watching HD heli vids on my HD TV in the living room - I use AppleTV for this - streams the vids right off my PC.

for those of you not familiar with AppleTV (this is not a MAC):

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Converting the WMV HD files to Blu-ray or other codecs?

I have been trying to burn Ruyryders WMV HD videos to a Blu-ray disk using Nero 8 Ultra with the BD/HD Plug-in and Nero Vision.

However when I import the file the thumbnail and processed video is blank (black screen) with just audio. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and how to corrent it???

I should have support for the VC-1 codec but so far it doesn't work with my Windows XP SP3 computer and all the required hardware.


Any help would be appreciated so I can enjoy the videos.

Could I burn them to a normal DVD and if so how....what do I have to do??? Convert to VOB files????
