You're a lightweight, my first one was a Tamiya Supershot and a Tamiya Frog, and I dominated on the track until the original gold tub RC-10 came out, and upgraded to that.

I've never changed the bearings in my brushless motors, but the Scorpions look like they come apart fairly easily. Shouldn't be any big deal to change them, although I doubt you'll need to if you keep them oiled.

So your like 70 then huh I can at least remember those.

I have a bottle of tri- flow for my mountainbikes thats good stuff I also have some old Trinity stuff I think they call Royal purple or something like that that I still have and use its good stuff. You said you doubt that I will need to if I keep it oiled so I am guessing they come with top quality bearings.

I'm an old bastard, it's official, I found my self saying the phrase "kids these days" earlier this week. If that doesn't make you a fossil, nothing does.

Wow, i still have my XX-4 CR. That is the one I put the Cyclone programmable ESC in and it is still there. I remember thinking the ESC was so small, then when I got I found out I had to solder a silo sized cap ont the thing. The first motor was insanely fast but would quickly start losing power after a few packs.I cant remember which one but I still have it too. Have the Losi truck from the same time frame.

Scorpion recommends bearing maintenence. The motors have a 2 year warranty but failure of bearings or damage caused by failed bearings is excluded. There is a Scorpion thread on RC Groups and the owner of Innov8tive, the Scorpion dist. answers questions himself.Lucien is his nam. The bearings are supposed to be easily replaced on outrunner motors but Im 6 months into this heli thing and I havent had to touch a brushless motor yet, other than using the tube spout on my Triflo bottle to put a drop of oil here and there.
