Final got to fly today and I had a very bad tail vibe durring run up on the ground. Then I picked it up to track it thinking that might be the problem but the track was perfect. Then I started adjusting my head speed at a hover getting it up around 18 to 1900 and the shutter went away but still had a vibe. I wanted to check the gyro and the new Hyper's performance so I did a couple of patterns. Everything went well until I started my approach and when the RRPM dropped down a bit the shutter came back. Any ideas everything looks good the main shaft, feathering shaft, tail shaft are all good.

Older Stinger 50
New OS Hyper (3 tanks for breakin, 1 flight today)
New upgraded all metal head (installed same day as eng)
New upgraded all metal tail rotor box (1st run today)

If you get in the 1500 - 1700 range there will be a terrible vibration.
I have no idea what causes it.
I run 1950 in normal and Idle 1 and 2100 in idle 2.
When spooling up I just make it a point to go thru the 16-1700 rpm area quick.

On all helies I balance anything that spins, fan, clutch, tail blades, main blades (I have even found V's that were off) head, main gear assy.
If it spins, it gets to meet the balancer.
Double check to be sure that the flybar is centered on the head and that the paddles are the same distance out also.

I found out what it was and felt as stupid as I could possably get. I even felt what left of my IQ drop to nothingness. I didn't tighten one of my fly bar paddles enough. Now I have a very smooth bird from 1600 all the way up to 2300 RRPM. I never even thought to check them. I checked everything but the paddles. It wasn't even all that loose just a little bit enough to make it shift under a light load.

Thanks for the help I will make sure I keep it all in mind for the next time.
