Lipo: 12 x 3.7 = 44.4V
A123: 14 x 3.2 = 44.8V

Stolla: Just looked on http://www.kontronik.com. The pic shows a Jive version 7i4, this seems to be the latest version now.

Also do you think i will have any issues with actro 32-4 on 12s with the 6i4?, i do not want to send this back if not absolutely neccessary as it will probably take me a month or more to get back.
Wonder why info@kontronik does not respond to my emails, also the US (english)site is no-use as it does not even feature the jive. Wish my german heritage could help me here

you have to keep in mind the PowerJazz is designed to handle 15S lipo, the Jive series was only designed for 12S lipo, therefore I would not assume that at all man....

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

Not assumptions made at all. 14s A123 = 12S lipo. This is not based on theory here on RR. This is based on what I have run in my own helis.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have one question here, how many of you are experiencing the overcurrent issues on the jive within the specification limit, i.e. 80 amps? I know a lot of guys reckon its good for twice that etc, but it seems not to be . Just want to be sure as i have one I'm going to use on a actro 32-4 which rated at 75 amp max, whereas 32-3 is rated at 95, which is higher than the official spec.
I think if any of you experience this on a motor with current draw lower than the spec we can take this up with kontronik.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Some good news as my 32-4 will definately draw lower current on 12s than the -3.
According to kontronik the jive was tested only on the 24 series, not on the 32 series actro's. The highest 24 (24-4)is rated at 75 amps so we have no official data on higher amp draw motors which is a pity.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		As you may have noticed on another post my brand new jive 80hv popped a capacitor on its maiden flight.
Luckily i had the eagletree on when it happened so at least we have some data. I was actually expecting a shutdown similar to what others experienced but not this,espescially since it ran well within the spec of the esc
Since readiheli seems reluctant to replace it but rather reffering the matter to kontronik it would probably take forever and a lot of bucks before i get a replacement.
Now i was wondering if any of you electronic gurus think i can replace the capacitor myself or is it an indication of something else gone wrong.
For the record it worked perfectly with the popped cap as i only noticed when taking the canopy off when i saw the innards sprayed over the wiring.

I'm very relieved as they've been very good to deal with.
Guess i will forget about doing the fix!
