Hi Guys,

IT FLYS!!! It looks like we found the problem! As soon as I switched the elevator remote switch to off everything worked perfectly! I picked it up to a stable hovered and played with it for about 5 minutes! I was able to move it in all directions smoothly and without any unusual events! I am at all of the factory settings except the ELEV-GY HI & LO, and that is set at +140. I am going to set it to the factory setting of +160 and see what that does to it! Needless to say, I am a very happy camper this morning! The Hirobo Chinook is a blast to fly! Again, thanks for your help!

Pictures?????????

Richard, pictures, we need pictures!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it amazing how one little switch could "mess" up the entire machine!!!!

Now that you have it up and running, you have to get some pictures posted so we can see how it looks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck with it and have FUN!!!!!! Yes, they really do fly!!!

Hey Guys,

It is kinda difficult to fly and take picture at the same time! I am going to have to find someone that is up at 6:00AM-7:00AM, when the winds are calm, and I am able to get some hover time! As soon as I do I will be glad to post them for all to see! Maybe this weekend!

Stan,

That might work! All I need now is a tripod! I flew it again this morning in a little bit of a wind and it does get a little squirley! I am now set completely at factory settings and it flys great! I pretty much have it trimed as well! I did not need much aileron or rudder trim, but I did need quite a bit of aft elevator trim. I am fixing to make a mechanical adjustment now! Correct if I am wrong, but I believe I need to shorten the rear control rod on both heads to get the swashplate to tip back a bit right?
