Hehe - I didnt think it would be long before someone made a comment about the Blades. Here im using the X-Treme wide core 620mm Carbon Blade - Mainly used for F3C - However the GCT Ultra Wide Core is in fact the same blade as the Mavrikk G5 which I believe is available in the US and other market places, and used mainly for 3D flight. Ive grown quite fond of these blades as they come in a good variety of colors, perform very well, cheaper than the rest, and i'm rather fortunate to be acquainted with Heiko who is the Chief Executive of Go Composite Technology Ahem nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.......

Seven Knights a Week

Obviously not all RTF, but just for jollies, I lined up all 7 of my Knight birds and snapped this shot specially for this thread.

Left to right two Pros, three 3Ds, Sport, and one more 3D. I have enough stuff to have 6 of the 7 fully functional and ready to fly.

The 3D with the painted canopy has a CF frame set and has most of the metal upgrades available from Compass, including full metal head and metal 8mm grips. Tail is an RJX carbon boom, QUK tail clamp for 600, and QUK tail rotor & tail servo mount. BLS 451 on swash duty, BLS 251/Spartan combo for the tail, ATG, Hyper, Align pipe, Rotortech blades.

I'm currently putting together an identical "sister" of that one.

When you gonna put a 60 in one of those puppies :

Geez Blade, I don't have a 60. Do you think an OS 70 would do the trick?

Actually I'm not crazy about the idea of lopping off the front legs of the frame to make clearance for the cyllinder head. If not for my reservations concerning the frame butchery, I would have already stuffed a 70 in one of these.

I do have some spare g-10 frames in the parts drawer now though-might just have to see what I can come up with.

To be honest, I have been looking at the Pantera pretty closely as it is a little beefier machine with a bigger clutch, main bearings, and has a big block conversion kit from the manufacturer available. I think that might be a better platform for a big block bird. I guess I just don't have the radical modding gene like you do!
