The Fan and Shroud mounted up well. I had to trim some material off the redirect, part of the shroud, because it was hitting the engine. Other than that it was an easy install. The Shroud came with bolts, which I used, except the screw near the throttle linkage. The shroud came with a socket head screw, which was to tall. I just replaced it with a button head screw.
The fan and shroud are a little taller than stock, but there is no effect on installation. Like I said, it fit perfect. You don't need any instructions. Installation is self explanatory.
When I checked run-out on the fan, it measured to nearly zero. I was amazed. Really, I mounted the fan, tighten it down, measured the run out and I was done. It didn't take me more than 10 minutes.
When I get this bird in the air, I will report back. I've had the Spectra ready to fly about five different times, but something always comes up that I missed. The throttle linkage was the last challenge for me and I have finally figured it out.
I'll go through my set-up again, and hopefully, the Spectra will be airworthy.
