My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Scorpion came out with 2 600/700 class motors. one is 3500 watts and the other is 4200 watts.$ 169.00.

The 4200 watt one will be here tommorow.I'm going to run it on 12s of course.

I wonder what it will pull on spikes if it's rated 4200 watts constant.

I have 5 night flights on the phazor now.

This night flying is awesome. I think i'll setup atleast 1 other eletric heli for it so i can fly continious.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		the taller gearing showed up yesterday,2 more night flights yesterday, now running at 2350 it rocks pretty good on the century motor on 10s.

I'm currently running the scorpion motor in one of my trex 600e's,power is good but less then i exspected. i'll run it in ther till my 12s 1910 shows then i'll try it in the phazor on 10s.

Iam using the Scorpion 4025-890 it pulls really well spinning the head @ 2250 and it is flybarless and Outrage 3700 8s 1p

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		We picked up a 4035 at IRCHA for testing on 8S. Worked out pretty well, but it was very picky on what gear ratio/HS you ran. It did make great power and was very efficient. Here's one of many graphs for this motor:




Just last week we installed a 4025-890 for testing on 6S and 8S.
8S testing shows really good power! We then had to jump to some 6S testing for David, after only 2 flights the EagleTree failed with an open circuit and caused a bad crash. (we're running a BEC so the heli fell like a dead duck!) Here's part of the 6S test flight:

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		two of guys at our airfeild switchedfrom neu 1515 mmotors to 4025 scorpions after seeing my 4035 in action,now they whant to know if i whant to buy there neu motor's.now that's funny.

povern i did gear down my trex 500 to a 15 pinion froma 17 pinion but i'm running 95% throtle instead of 65% so the headspeed is only alittle less probably 3000 to 3100 but it is still fast enough to be entertaining and be a blur in flips and rolls.It will do 3 rolls on the corkscrew before i have to pull out.
