My Posts This: Topic Forum | Hi, I've just had my worst crash with my NR3D. My home made training kit, which was straped under my skids with tie wraps, had came loose from one side, and touched the blades at about 8ft high.
Aftermath: tail boom at 45 degrees, tail rotor in 5th dimension, and again a seesaw ball broken. I think I' m very good with seesaws. It's my favourite part. I've already ordered metal ones, and waiting for them. My carbon blades had took a beating, but I think they will be OK for some other crashes...er...flights.Carbon blades are really a must for this heli. When I've bought it, I thought I was better to stay with standard ones while learning, and then install a carbon set later. Mistake. I highly recommend carbon ones. At the time you have scrapped the first two sets that came with the heli.
My question is: Do I have to unsolder tail rotor wires to change tail boom? I' m afraid about that
