This was moved with good reason from the Avant Forum, it took less than 20 minutes for it to be moved here. LOL.

All in good fun, what do I get for 200 bucks more and no parts support as of yet from an Aurora than I can't get from a REX?

http://fly3dx.com/c3dx2008/stevenGerrardTrex700Demo.wmv

What am I missing? More kits have been shipped to "special people" for final testing than have ever been built of the Aurora?

...This won't end good, this is like walking into a gun club and asking if anyone has seen Obama or Hillary.

Nice flight. As much as I love the Aurora quality, bling, and sexy looks, I am still getting a 700. I think the 700 is going to be just like the 600 in the fact that it may not be the highest quality out there but it will fly like it is!

I have one question Sam...what do you mean the quality is not as good with the align machines? I'm looking at the 700 and I cannot find one machine with such high quality...I can also say the same for the 600. They put quality where its needed. The 600 is the only machine that makes it through a rough weekend or fun fly. They fly hard and easy to build. Not to mention the repair costs. Look at the level of flying because of the 600. It seems that almost everyone stopped flying 90 size machine because of the 600 and now with the 700....its ON.
We get so spoiled by something so good and forget how rough it used to be not having our align machines. But we need to simply appreciate how great it has been to have a machine that is affordable, reliable and of course, every great pilot has or had one and it held up to every type of flying out there.

NOT to get off on an Aurora tangent, but I wanted to say amazingly enough an Aurora kit arrived at my friend's door step last week. I was shocked (a) that he ordered one way back and forgot he ordered it and (b) that it arrived!

I'm excited to be able to walk into my local hobby shop and buy a new T700 kit BAM! out the door and in my car.

When the 700 comes out, I wonder what that will do to the market value of the used 600's.... I'm thinking we might see a bunch of these for sale... Everyone moving up.

Mikado 500 SE, EVO 50, Caliber 5, Beam 450, and comming soon TREX 9000 :)

Not moving up but I just carved out a spot in my fleet..just sold my Fury Expert/TT70. When the 700 comes out it will find a home right between the 600n and the Fury Extreme. Should be very interesting to see how the 700 compares to the Fury side by side. I will say that I was a very set in my ways MA guy since the days of the Custom 60. Curiosity about what all the fuss was about and a darn smoking deal on a 600 finally was enough for me to give it a try. That dam 600n pretty much smashed most if not all of my notions about rc helicopters! I learned that it doesn't have to be complicated or hard to be good. Easy and solid it turns out can be alot more fun. That alone pretty much made up my mind to sell the Fury 70. Now I'm not saying that the 600 is better than my Fury was..just different...different in a way that made the Fury sit in the hanger far too much.

Market value of used 600's when the 700 comes out

I dont think the market value will drop nor do I believe everyone that owns a 600 will sell to buy a 700. 90 sized helis stil lcost more in fuel and repair. I see adding to the fleet but not replaing the 600N
