I've been complaining on this forum about my one way bearing issues for months.I've been through the kasama bearing from Grand RC. That thing did fairly well. It only locked up once the first day and didn't totally lock out for three days. I used at least four of the Align bearings. The new shaft. The old shaft. I tried the straight cut gear. I like the helical cut gear. Every bearing I tried would work for a couple of flights. The minute I started in with tic toc's, it was done. Now I picked up a Luke RC bearing. The bearing was $58.00. Compared to what I've spent on bearings so far.... Cheap. After two weeks of waiting for it to lock up, I'm all the way up to saying, MMmmm... hasn't locked up yet.
Is this an actual solution??? I'm waiting another couple of months before I declare it...

What about the sleeve shaft which goes into the one ways ?

Mine seem to wear fast is this the cause of the problems ?

I have one of the new stock bearing and it’s as good as new after 80 flights.

Sounds to me like you have a bent frame or some other misalignment problem. I suppose that the frame could have been drilled a little crooked causing you a problem.

Do you have an aluminum, CF, or GF frame?

I've had mine on for at least 50 flights with no issues. I think you have something wrong on your heli.

I have the CF frame. It's always possible something is a little out of alignment, but it hasn't been obvious to me and I've been through it more than twice. It had the L motor, so it may have been an earlier production model. At any rate, LukeRC's bearing is doing what the align bearings wouldn't. I will post if it lock's up though.

I Have had them last one flight and I have had them last 50+ flights. The ones that have lasted a long time I placed a couple of 3 in 1 oil drops into them before assembly. Im speaking of the 600 and 450 one-ways in general btw.

In my 600N's I have been running the $4 HeliDirect One-Ways for MANY flights with no issues. The Align Bearings locked up on the first flights. The carrier shafts do wear pretty quickly though, I have noticed that too. That can allow the shaft to rock in the one way locking it up. Just keep an eye on it.

What do you mean my carrier shaft? This thing:

That's mine after well over 200 flights and well over 1000 autos. There's no measurable wear out to .0001 Original one way is still going strong with no lock ups yet. That's my experience with my nitro through so this might not be an appropriate post.

Mine is in the exact same condition as Kingair's, and with about the same qty of flights and autos. Not a single issue.. smooth as silk.

I used the thunder tiger one-way bearing grease on it (black gooey stuff). I wonder if that's been the reason that I haven't had any issues?

I guess I'd better keep an eye on it, but I have no problems with this bearing or carrier shaft. My carrier looks a bit worn, but I don't do any special lubrication, just some tri-flow from time-to-time.

I like to do a lot of tic-tocs, etc. Probably about 150+ flights since new. Several crashes too.

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

I don't have any idea about a taddletail wag. But I put another 5 flights on my LukeRC oneway bearing today and it's still working fine. I seldom got a day out of an align bearing without it locking up. I don't know anything about what happens if they start slipping. The Luke bearing is getting in close to 50 flights. It's to the point where I've almost forgotten that there was a problem....

Until last month I used the stock house and one way bearing that came with the kit of my 600E (bought it before a year and half).
I've had about hundreds of flights with and last month I've replaced it with a new house and bearing (from align) and on the first flight it got stuck.
I was't able to pull the shaft out at all, does it happens to you to ?
I had to warm the underneath of the main shaft with a big 60W soldering iron and after a few minutes I could pul the shaft out.
I assembled everything and it worked great for 2 flight and stuck again.
What I saw in the first time is a little scratches in carrier shaft, and now I can't take shaft out again

To turn your one way loose, just turn the bearing in the reverse direction of the hold direction. I usually pull the gear off the main shaft, put a small screw driver through the bolt hole and twist. Sometimes, I just force the two gears in the desired direction, it usually doesn't take much. My LukeRC bearing is still going fine.
