Just modified to put the regular OS91 C-spec with 8.3 ratio on my 3DNT with success. I flew 3 tank to make sure the fan, clutch holding good in place. I feel it has less vibration than the HLG engine I have before.
In the 3 tank of hover I adjust the needle to have it running right with the Hatori700 pipe, it still too rich.

It possible to put the YS91 in it but I can't find the header for the YS so that I do with the OS to use with the exiting header.

what you mean by less vibes than the hgl engine ? a hgl engine is a c spec with different crank isnt it ? do you have the original c spec crank in there ?
i myself have a nt with a c spec . but i bought a 91sz , when i get it , i will modify the crank to fit the new engine .

if you do what you did , you get what you've got

The engine I use is the standard one that most use on all 90 size heli out there. Is the short and large shaft, not the long one with 8mm shaft like HGL.

I flew it to day with happpy power.
I have some PM asking me how to do this modify.
Here is what I did on mine.
-With the clutch bell I pull out the lower bearing and replace with the brass brush, I made one 10x14x4 by myself. If you can turn down the OS91 shaft to 8mm and use the stock clutch bell bearing.



-I make the sharp step down on the engine shaft, add the space to support the upper clutch bell bearing. This space is grind to the right amount, so that when install the clutchbell on the shaft is has little space about 1/4mm between the brush and front engine bearing. I insert the space on the wood stick for easy handle and grind bit by bit until I got the right amount.




-I got the clutch/bell in place, the nut will tigh and hold the shoe like this.



-With the fan will not hold by the engine nut, it attach independent with the shoe via two 5mm bolt.
First I attach the clutch shoe and fan on the HLG engine the get it bolt on together. I drill two new hole on the fan inline with the two 5mm hole on the clutchshoe. I make the center fan hole is large and the engine nut can go through.




The parts must have is;
-The 13T clutch bell
-The clutch shoe is ok with the L or R because the OS91c-spec is high rpm engine.
-Left hand cooling fan L503
-Left hand shroud L331
-Main shaft oneway clutch L0418 (I have the R0418 and just reverse the oneway bearing in it)

*Reverse the tail direction too.

Hope all info above can help someone interest to do the same.
