| On plumbing fuel tanks with a header. Hook up the main tank to the header, then the header to the engine.

Thanks Eury
ok, i must tell that after reading ur posts guys, that definitivly make sense, BUT i think everyone may have overlooked what really happend in there, ill explain..
ok, lets say my filter block 50% of the fan shroud, u should not forget that the air desity is really low, and the air can be compressed really well and take any shapes. that mean even if 50% of the shroud is blocked, there are probly much more than 50% of the air that will reach the head.(actualy the air will compress and accellerate, sending the air at an highter speed on the head)
and now here is the thing that mb u guys have overlooked, with an open carb ventury setup(inside the shroud), most of the air the fan will throw will end up IN the engine big engine like that running 80% throttle, that eat alot of air
in the end that may be really similar in cooling effect, of course thats just theoric stuff im just a noob remember anyways.. i will try that setup someday and we will see.
and i would also like to add that the previous owner said it had mb 20-25 run on the heli, well.. for 20 run ive been really impressed by all the junk i found in the shroud... i would definitivly not even think about running these engine w/o ATLEAST a tube to take fresh air from outside the shroud, but inside.. ouff.. thats call to ruin an engine in a short time.. IMO
what temp do u guys keep ur engines? i keep my nitro motors around 200-240f, but thats on my trucks and cars |
