That freakin' sucks because I just bought a mx450. I hope they offer parts support for some time to come!! Either that, or it might be time to by a Beam 4, I'm an anti TREX person, so it will be anything but a TREX!

Because I don't like to go mainstream, anyways, from the reports I have read, I believe the Beam E4 and MA Bandit 450 are the best heli's out there.

I know the TREX is a good bird with good parts availability, but for some reason I like to explore other avenues, not just the main one!!!

"Anti" may not be the best word you could pick then.

"Anti" or "against" is the word I choose, because I will not own an Align product, I do not like supporting Asian products and try to support the good ol' USA when I can. When I have to purchase an Asian Heli product like Radios, Gyros, and Servos, I will always pick Japanese, because I would rather support democracy than communism!!!! I know people will chime in and make their points like South Korea and Taiwan are both capitalist countries, I know this, I just feel that Japan is a closer ally!!

WOWOWO, you are making a big statement that you cannot achieve. Look around in your house (don't know if you own one). How many products are made in China :-D.

Dude, you are surrounded, and sinking...

no - I see what he's saying

and I agree. Sometimes you can't help but buy chink crap, but I avoid it at all costs. As far as Align, I'm with him there. They make decent enough stuff, it's affordable and readily available, I just prefer to have something that not every guy in your town owns.
Problem is I want a Vibe and I'm worried by the time I get one, there will be a hundred of 'em at my field. I was gonna go mini Titan, but now am going to hold off for a Bandit since everybody here is starting to show up with Mini's.

Some things you cannot avoid, but some are choices, I made a choice to not send my money overseas when possible.

Well, You are kind of cheating to yourself, which is not a man normally does. If you cannot avoid something, then just admit it, and don't make it A big deal or statement
Just buy them or not buy them... it is that simple ... and sheeeeeeh

I'm an anti TREX person

Well I was anti Helimax, it's good to know they finally discontinued the heli. I'm sorry but the MX400 almost got me out of heli's as I thought the constant problems with that heli were commonplace. I had so many ESC problems with their brand that cost me hundreds of dollars, engine issues and tons of mechanical problems.

Got a 450 SE v2 a long time ago and never looked back. Hundreds of recent flights and not a single part failure.

Sorry, I'm not trying to bash your brand, in my opinion there are a lot of other options out there that for the money which are a much better investment of your heli budget.

The Beam looks like a great option as well, where is it made or are you anti beam too?

Anti-Trex Man

Oh no, he was all about a Beam a few months ago. Joke
is, Beams and Furions and most of the newer helis are
spin-offs of one proven design in the 450 class, you
guessed it, a Trex.
