The water finally receded enough for us to get out for a couple of flights Monday night.
I am still new to ESC's but getting closer in the setup.
No mater what I throw at this Phazor it just keeps asking "is that all you got?".

And yes I am paranoid about flying a new all electric toy over (with the possibility of into) water.
My 50 is old and needs all new electronics anyhow, so if it goes in the drink, it is no big deal, just a good excuse to go shopping.

Come on Dan, Your lagging behind.

Yea, I am slacking. I had a magicshow last night (another hobby that makes me money). Sending the bad servos out today. I'm thinking about pulling the Jr811's out of my stinger 50 to get me running for the time being. Been hard getting anything done with a sick 3 year old and pregnant wife, haha.

Sounds good jeff.I know what you mean. I came home today and after 4 days of 60 degree and sun.I have about 6 inches of water in my back yard /flying feild.I'm thinkink the same thing,I might leave the eletrics in the hanger for a week or so untill the water soaks away and fly my nitros. They need to be flown to.It will be good time to brush up on my nitros. How do you start them things again?
Hey dan.You can't tell me a rep doesn't have a set of servo's laying around somewhere
Just kidding. But you might whant to think about it.

My problem is I have too many irons in the fire and have spent too much money lately on various projects. I got a new 360 AP mount for my Trex600, a couple new Canon A640 cameras for AP, some new downlink equipment, plus I just bought a Century Predator Condor with 830mm blades and a hanson modified G260 gasser. I also forgot about my new AP mast, a 40ft wonderpole with servo city tilt and pan mechanics.I need to go to the hobby shop tomorrow and find some decent futaba servos as the bluebird servos use futaba splines on the servo arms, that way I can just pop the futaba servos in and don't have to change the servo arms too.

Yeh it does sound like you have to many irons in the fire .I thought i was the only one.I have 18 helis and 4 of theme are in various states of either modification,or disrepair, and now the power of these eletrics is my latest addiction,I have a new swift on my bench that I'm just finishing up, withan 8s powersystem in a 5.5 pound heli.and i am trying to find the time to do a eletric conversion to one of my hawks and if it works the way i think it will maybye i'll convert one of my ravens.Plus i have a fleet of 12 nitros that need to be flown. They're getting jelous of my newest addiction,(eletrics)
One thing I'm finding with the eletrics is they seam to spend more time in the air and less time on the bench .The lack of vibration seams to make a huge difference on parts wearing out.Seams once you get theme dialed in you just fly and adjust the belts once and a while. I keep checking all the screws for tightness And i never find anything loose.

OK, I have 3 futaba 9252 servos on the way from CA. The guy should ship them tomorrow priority mail. The hobby shop did not have what I wanted. I guess while I'm waiting, I can get the receiver and gyro mounted and program the ESC.

Unfortunately I do not have access to a digital video camera.
Besides, My flying is nothing spectacular to watch.
There is a very good video on the Gohbee website that you can watch.

That is true Jeff, it is a great video to watch, it is a WOW video, but I like to see us the regular/sport/lite 3D pilots flying this heli.

My buddy is goung to look for his camara tonight he says.Logged 5 more flights on the Phazor today.
I have this problem of getting use to the power of a heli and start to think something is wrong with. I'll ask my buddy does it seem slower to you today? his response is allways it's just you.
Well today i parked my eletrics after lunch and flew a couple of my nitro's for the first time since befor i got the Phazor.
All I can say is WHERE"S THE POWER? Man It's like going back to a chevette after getting use to a corvette.
They seem so easy to fly now in comparison to the lightning fast cyclic and power of the eletrics.
Hopefully I can have some video befor long.

I've been flying my compass knights and century ravens for the same reason. However this afternoon i could'nt take it anymore. I felt the need for power so i took my trusty swift 16 6s heli up for a flight.Awwwe that felt good to fly something with power again.Tomorrow we're going to the club feild and i'll take the Phazor out then.no water puddles to fly over.

I finally got to fly another pack tonight before it got dark.
Dang this thing gets around the sky in a big hurry.

The motor and battery were much cooler with the latest setup of the speed control. Temps were 105 on the batt and 115 on the motor while still going ballistic in the air.
