Well just left the club meeting, Crosswinds R/C Club is having a July funfly. It will be a one day event July 26, 2008, Now all Colorado fliers, give me your feedback, are you willing to come? Go to my homepage for the website. I will be cutting some blade holographics that will be for the 1st 25 regestered flyers. Landing fee is going to be charged should be relatively inexpensive. There will be a concession.

Count me in. Tell the plankers they can fly too provided they fly their plank like it is a heli and hover it at least 90% of the time it's in the air. Tell them they also have to demonstrate that they can fly it in a circle tail first.

With that much resistance from the plankers at your club, how are you able to fly helis and planks at the same club?

You have to trim it with the "green" motor.

Eric

The windsock is on the Cabana Lounge. No need to trim it although you may be able to land on it if the wind is strong.

"trimming the windsock" and "landing on it" are identical maneuvers, at least historically speaking....

True True I remember the last time I saw you do that with a Blade cp.

Eric, go to the FAAST link I put a link for a protable charger for the 14mz. It is only 39 bucks and it really works great.

Larry,
I just saw this posting. We'll be there! If Eric can't trim the windsock, I'll melt it with the Jetcopter

Sounds good. I'm in, but I'll have to fly someone else's Blade since I've sold mine.

If I remember correctly "Trim the windsock" came right after "Hey Eric why don't you try to land on the wind sock" which came right after "Hey the wind is gusting to about 30mph, I bet you wont fly your blade CP in this kind of wind Eric" For those that have been following along the blade and windsock had a rough day. The blade needed about $30 worth of parts and the windsock got cut up a little bit. Fun times!!

I will be there Larry!!

Proud to have over 13 pages of Good Guy feedback.
