We're expecting a large crowd and will have places to park for everyone. The lucky first arrivals will get to park along the flight line and then we'll have a shuttle cart from the front field to the main field (short but an inconvenience when lugging things). I'm not quite sure how many cars can park on the flight line, but our open house with 80 was easy, so if we have 200-250 pilots, we'll have parking in the front field.

There are plenty of hotels nearby and they're posted on our website under the event. We have block rooms at the courtyard and there are a bunch of other recommendations listed.

Not sure about Avant pilots...I can only imagine there will be a bunch there, but Jeremy of rchover has been flying them for awhile.

Like you, I get an invalid group code, so I called to have them fix their group code/date information. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I think the part that got us messed up is that the date needs to be set to 10/9/2008 or whatever date you're looking for during that weekend. Yesterday just happened to be 9/9/2008 and I didn't notice that I needed to set the date to october.

So, *set the date to October* and it works fine for me. Thursday rooms are getting scarce so I'd book that right away if that's your plan.

We're excited to announce that Joe Howard from East Coast Scale Helicopters http://www.eastcoastvario.com/ will be doing a scale static competition. We'll be posting more details when we nail them down. As of right now he's looking at Saturday and Sunday.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Newbies are definately welcome. We'll have 2+ hover zones so people who are just learning how to hover can come and fly. Plus a few "out of the way" flight stations in case you don't want to fly/crash in front of a bunch of people.

Even if you don't want to fly there will be manufacturers there showing off their new ships and products. Align will be there, Outrage, Vario, hopefully Min-Air, Youngblood enterprises, etc.

There will also be a raffle, pro-pilot demos, night flying, skill/luck contests, full size helis, a scale static contest, breakfast and lunch available onsite and much more.

So anybody who is interested in rc helis should come regardless of ability.

If anyone needs help with their gassers, I can offer my services/assistance to setup your machine. I've done this to a few people at funfly's this summer so if you missed out on it bring your gasser down and I'll get it flying right for you.

Also will be around for night flying for those who want to see the little 450 go to music at night!
