I have a H2 that Eric Larsen built for me and I wanted to upgrade the head slightly to smooth it out a bit in hover. Its very twitchy with out bell/mixers. Anyone recommend anything. I dont want to go overboard with prices..

Duzi is the only way to go for Hornet tuning/upgrade parts IMO
Expensive but great quality and super smooth performance
So near zero slop that you have to have your blade tracking dead on

About $300 for the whole head

Head/Grips $110
Bell-Hiller $70
Collective Horn $30
Swash Plate $100

MS metal upgrades aren't even close as good IMO - Swash especially

I think only 1 or 2 other metal heads available? but I doubt on par with Duzi

I think you mean with bell/hiller mixer arms, required for 3D.

Try heavier paddles and/or heavier blades. It may be set up with hollow 3D paddles for good cyclic response. Also dial in about 30% to 60% Expo on Aileron and Elevator, that will smooth the hover handling out a lot.

If you find the cyclic still jumps in too quick nearer the stick limits (unpredictable response curve if too soft in the middle then suddenly bites, flyers preference though) then run Ail and Elv dual rates or reduce Ail and Elv numbers in your Tx swash menu.

Zero your Carbon foot print?... Don't breed!
