My Posts This: Topic Forum | I have an Ocean Rescue since January. I have a lot of fun with it. I' m very crazy for this hobby. It didn't took long before I have bought a second battery, then a third. I use only the original charger that came with the heli. I strictly follow the charging guidelines. I take care to not overdischarge/charge batteries. Even with all precautions I take, I have lost 2 of my batteries. (They became puffed) (one in February and one yesterday) The only one still good is the one that came with my heli.
Someone told me that it might be caused by a crash, or a fall. My crash period is passed (January). Since then, no more crash. The only one allowed to manipulate my batteries is me, and I've never dropped one.
My question is: May I have bought a bad batch of bateries. Even new, they have been tightier in the holder than the original. Am I the only one who had problems with these batteries?
At the price I have paid for these batteries, I thought I would be able to use them longer than a month. I fly about 6 charges a week (almost on weekends) and I let the copter cool down at least 20 minutes between batteries. I recharge them at least one hour after having removed them from the OCR.
