My Posts This: Topic Forum | when i had my 30 size airwolf a few years ago i always hated the fact that i had to remjove the rotorhead to get the top cowling off so on my fifty, i made the top section a two piece. the rear half is secured with 440 bolts and blind nuts while the front is secured with one in the front and plugs intothe rear half. some sort of quick disconect latch willwork fine for removing it quick and easy to start it if its nitro and you dont want to put a hole for the starter probe. a bulkhead at the separation line makes for a nice and rigid setup. as yours is painted already, i would probably not go this route unles as a last resort as cutting can be risky to the paintjob.
