I have the 90 3D only two running in flights so far but I like it a lot and think that "out of the packet" it probably represents the best value Seems like a strange forum to post that lot are you trying to persuade more to the Dark side
You running CF tail blades? Jan Henseleit discourages the use of those on his heli tails as they are very rigid. There also have been many tail failures using them. Be careful.....Ron
No I think it is because the CF blades are extremely rigid like the tail. They stress the bolts holding the tail grips in. Do a search and you will find the thread.....Ron
stiff carbon blades which have not good quality cause generelly more vibrations because they are not able to get straight from the centrifugal force like plastic blades so that wear out of bearings will be faster. At the old version strong vibrations could ends in a failiure of the hub screw which fixed the blade holders. The new XL tail has a different tail blade hub which will not have any failiures even when carbon blades are used which cause more vibrations so that you donīt have to worry about that point.
