John the other thread has why and it's simple to understand. You are correct we haven't won anything in court but a monkey could figure this one out. It's really just damages which you guys have added to all day and was logged.

Don't lose to much sleep I think I will be fine. BTW if a $7,000 CC charge brings a company down it never was.

He ask to put this all behind us and move on so I did. I made him a deal on a camera on a CC purchase. He could have done a charge back and had his money in 3 days? I could have disputed it but he would have gotten his money so why?

I sell these and sold it the next week so why waste time on DJ?

He took that page down from his site yesterday. That's the libel that cost him.

Let me know if you can't find it.

He was credited about 4 hours before he posted that. Go figure? Really doesn't sound like I held anything over him does it?

Keep in mind first he said the camera had a broken seal and didn't work then he said it looked like new and shipped it back? He lied about everything.

You know, that is just arrogant. There are a lot of companies out there where this would affect the bottom line. What do you think makes this great nation great. Its called free enterprise. I swear every time you open your mouth, you make a fool of yourself every time. Another thing, belittling potential customers is not going to get you any future business from them, why you constantly do it I do not know. I was seriously thinking on buying some mounts from you, but I think I'm going to go down a different avenue, clearly you don't need my money.

Actually they didn't do anything like this. This was placed on a personal website owned by a person.

What your attorneys probably didn't tell you is that it isn't considered slander in a court of law if it's found by that court to be true. Now why do you suppose your attorney(s) didn't tell you that?

So your saying you did talk to DJ himself?? Did you call him?? or was this just a call to you, and you thought it was DJ??

I just think that this whole mess is terrible,, From both stances.. You, and DJ, it's a shame that you both can't come to some aggrement to stay away from each other, You both have a good product to sell, You with your camera mount, and DJ with his, You both, provide a good service, but somehow, it just gets all messed up in the middle, it's a shame...

You do need to work on your people skills,, they are lacking...... But I guess that doesnt make you into a bad guy, just one that doesn't know how to talk to the little people, like me,,,

I know that I can get a little upset, well maybe alot upset sometimes, but I do try to learn from my mistakes,


Let me try to resolve this problem,,,, If DJ removes the thread on his web site, would you be willing to let the law suit go???

John he did remove it YESTERDAY but several logged how long it was up after he was ask to remove it MONTHS AGO. At one point it was his home page linked directly from RR to that page until Mark changed it not DJ.

B J Schram was a person that design experimental helicopter and I purchased a kit not made by him but at a show got to ask him some questions. He was rude and blunt but after the years went by I bought one of his heli's and then I understood the depth the man had in the industry. He's a legend today and at no point was he ever great to deal with but you knew he would never lead you the wrong way.

I tell it like it is. Sorry if that offends some but if they would quit typing and fly they would understand where I am coming from.

To answer you John it's going to court. I'm sorry but somethings can be fixed by I'm sorry.

And if you lose, you not only lose court costs, DJ's attorney's fees and YOUR attorney's fees, but you'll STILL lose out on a lot of future business due to your willingness to expose to the AP world how arrogant and insufferable you are.

For you John, this is a LOSE LOSE situation, and you brought it on yourself.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Wow, I can't believe all the emotions flying around here about a lawsuit that only John and DJ know the facts of. I for one am not going to pass judgement on either because a)it doesn't concern me b)I don't know the facts and c)it's a waste of my time.

Most of you know I use Airfoil products for my business. I use them because they work great and John has always supported them well with readily available parts. I don't make critical business decisions based on liking somebody or "he said this" kind of crap. I make decisions based on what is going to work best for MY business.

These are damages that will be added on to the law suit. It's just smart business. It also posted for all to read. It was stupid to start that thread and this one.

I'm not really worried about what I lose. I came from nothing to where I'm at today so if standing up for myself costs me money due to slander by another person I will gladly do it every time.
