Glad your friend is OK, but in the heat of the moment, we may not always think correctly.
Last week I was test running a new Pantera 50, with my 1st MultiGov. No big deal, until the MG began spooling it up, which I was not expecting. Still not a big deal, until I realizes the G401 was reversed and my throttle hold was not working. There I stood watching my new Pantera pirro on the skids down the driveway towards the gutter at the street. Thinking this is going to be messy, I thought (only for a second) I'll grab the tail boom and stop it from spinning, DUMP, DUMB, DUMB! And, No, I didn't do it; I finally got my throttle hold to work. Point being, take that extra second and think twice!

Get better man. I always try to be cautious when flying I know they are so fun yet soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dangerous. But every time I see this, I really want to work that much harder at making sure I'm making myself as well as everyone around safe!

Just wanted to add a few things:

Putting CA in the wound isn't a big deal, putting the accelerator in it was.

It's also a little weird you guys were more or less talking about having sex with someone's arm.

Crushed my finger a couple of years ago.

This is during the healing process.

This is aweful but what is amazing is how my finger knew how to recreate alot of my finger print.

I did lose a lot of feeling in the damaged area.

I was moving a trailer load of hickory rounds.... firewood. They were about 20" dia and bigger. Trailer got a flat on the way. I had to uload the wood because the jack would not lift it. While lifting one of the rounds, one slipped and the edge of the wood came down on my finger. I had leather gloves on.

Wow, that finger pic is pretty gross, but amazing how it healed like that. The human body is the most amazing thing in the world. Should be one of the wonders of the world for sure.
