My Posts This: Topic Forum | I fly mainly Raptors and as a result, I have a bunch of Raptor parts on hand. I recently picked up a Stinger 50 airframe that I plan on building and flying instead of using it for parts. From what I understand, Stinger and Raptor parts are interchangeable below the swashplate. Sitting the Stinger and one of my Raptor 50s side-by-side, they do look like they could swap parts pretty easily.
My question is what about the parts you can't see? How about parts like the clutch bell, starter shaft, pinions, etc. Do all these parts fit without issues between the Raptor and Stinger? Are there typically clearance issues that you run into when trying to use, say, a starter shaft and coupler from an R50 in a Stinger? Should I generally not have a problem using Raptor parts in the Stinger airframe?
