hey guys (and girls if any). just started flying today with the ocean rescue. extreamly good heli to start off with i'll give it that much. well all good until a gust of wind decided to send it into a fence and busted the blades. anyways changed them over and decided to practice indoors to start with. now got it hovering, and flying nicely. very quick to pick up.

my question is what would be the longest lasting battery for the ocean rescue and can you buy rapid chargers for them? like i said its my first day so i really have no clue about all the mah, volts, etc etc and what i can put in there and what i cant. i'm very eager to fly my heli and so its a little fustrating once the battery dies after 10mins and i have to sit there for about an hour waiting for it to charge again. i know i'm impatient but its just too much fun. if there are no rapid chargers and longer lasting batteries would be the other option to spend more time flying and less time watching the little red light blinking away on the charger.

also what would be the next heli to get once i've mastered the ocean rescue? dunno if i should get the 3d micro, 3d or 3dxl. suggestions would be great.

Thumbs up for Paul and the Venom team for producing top notch products and excellent customer service. will be a long time customer of venom thats for sure.

Do not buy bigger batteries for this heli. Get some spare stock ones.
Wait at least 1/2 hour between flights, to let motors cool down. You also must let cool down battery before recharging. You might also buy another original charger, if you decide to get more than 2 batteries. Do not overdischarge them when you fly. At the moment you feel the heli less responsive, land. If you do not do this, they will become puffed and unusable. A crash may sometimes make a battery bad, too.

I go outside sometimes with mine, and I have shortened one of my spare flybar, to avoid blades strikes. If you're interested by this mod, let me know on this board.

For the next heli: I have seen the Venom Night Ranger 3d, at my local hobby store. It will probably my next one. I' ve downloaded the instructions manual, and I' ve read it all, several times. I think i' m crazy about it. When you have mastered the Night Ranger 3d, you can install upgrades on it.
