Hello All,

I recently sold both Trex 450, 600 and all spare hardware and went full Mikado.

Current Fleet:
Logo 10 3D
Logo 600 3D
Vario Benzin Trainer/Scale EC135

Goals:
Pilot/build AP plateforms
Build/pilot scale Helicopters

Will continue to review post prior to asking question, but comments/tips are always welcome.

Thanks. Never really wanted to go full 3D, but precision/scale flying has got my attention.

Only a few flights on L600 - what a difference.

I would like to know too. I have t-rex 600, it is very smooth, just one odd vibration that I still have to work on for the video. I am looking for couple of replacement parts to replace the over the t-600 that I think are weak, or could be better. I read someone is making aerial video machine with the t-600 for sale soon with some weaker part replaced from joker and Logo.

One word, precision. No comparison to T600 on power (L600 on top) as I'm running Tango 45-10, CC80, on 15T for HS of 2050 (zero pitch) and 1950 (neg pitch on ground). IMO Align electronics are first to be replaced especially if you looking durability. Part of the reason I sold all Align birds in favor of Mikado. Spec power plant to match the intended use.

I need to tune down the agile response. Current setup requires very small stick inputs. So I will change linkage setup to follow L600DX instructions for less agile. This is another area of flybar tuning that isn’t offered with the T600.

Also note the main shaft is slightly angled forward.

Drive train is considerably quieter and smoother.

Enjoying L600 more & more everyday. Added 10% expo and 100% across TC. Need some smaller pinions to reduce headspeed - 2050R Flight time 5 min consuming 3200-3600mah.

What battery are you running?

I have 9s2p A123 and I get about 8-9 minutes of sports flying drawing about 4400mAh. Headspeed is 1830 on 600s.

There is a berm of dirt in an open field down the road from here that has really accelerated my understanding of each new heli setup I take to it...

Its really easy to fly it on the windward, leeward side, in the rotor, outside, through, etc, etc, until I can see the big pic of how the heli wants to handle different kinds of air conditions....if you have terrain like that nearby, its great for practice.

those 600 3ds are awesome helis, I'm jealous

AP2000 installed and RX relocation basically reduced G## count to none. Now its a matter of learning and tuning the AP2K.

Motor failure today. Tango 45-10 / CC80 / 6S1P setup seized after two years.

History (documented on L600)
Logo 10 3D: 100+ 8 min flights (some 11 min)
Logo 600 3D: approx. 130 4.5 to 5 min flights

Flew sunday with no indication of problems. Took L600 out after work and first pack started to drop power towards the 4 min mark while fly low level circuits with G5 payload. I had to land on the opposite side of field as there was no power to fly. Didn't really notice anything just thougt battery was nearing its end. Loaded 2nd pack and back to low level circuits, but decided to keep close and about 10-15 feet of deck. Three minutes into pack and tink (sound) - no power (hovering at the time).

You know the smell when electronics have gone bad. Pulled canopy and noticed motor leads turned 180° (top of motor can turned) and disconnected from ESC.

I'm grounded and looking for overnight delivery of Tango 45-8.
