Ok people, want to see if there are any others flying either the Flyus 30 or the Flyus 50.

I bought one 30 a few years ago, and then another 30 that was in fair shape and I ordered the 50 upgrade for it.

Before I start placing posts in the "Antique and Out of Business" forum, I thought I'd find out if there are any surviving helicopters out there.

Let me know!

So, are they still in business or are you "stuck" with 30 kits?

Been there done that!

I have not gotten a reply from a PM I sent to him.

I am not sure if he was serious about that post.

I have kits, can get kits, and deal directly with Korea Helicopter.

I was not aware of anyone else in the USA other Sky & Technology who had ever brought in more that a handful of kits.

The unfavorable exchange rate and high wholesale cost of these kits made for tough marketing in the USA.

And I, for one, have not even thought of importing a 30 size machine since they came out with the 50........

I did upgrade my 30 to a 50 size fule tank for GREAT flight times, though

here's my Flyus 30:

bought it as part of a RTF package and liquidated the electronics.

it has a misshapen tail servo mount, and some extra holes in the landing gear from the previous owner for a glow ignitor and fuel port =\

engine is a TT39

Flyus 30

I bough two Flyus 30 approximately 3 years ago. I crash one of them and used the second kit to fix it. I have it hanging in my shed. The Flyus is the best helicopter I have ever flown. I contacted the factory manager in Korea regarding getting parts for it. The parts and shipping are very expensive. I love the helicopter but am not interested in spending that king of money on parts.

Yes, the shipping is the worst part...and then the bank transfer fees.
But it is a great heli for sure...
