My Posts This: Topic  Forum		IT FLIES!!! tested it out today after the wind died down. I got it set-up pretty good, I just have to get used to the Fixed Pitch and the engine has to run real rich almost at a four cycle. Pretty Cool Vintage Bird!!

It was good to see everyone at the meeting today, even though I missed the meeting itself. I did manage to get in two tanks of flight in, thanks to Scott, as I left my starter at home. He let me use his starter and left so I had to keep it running and refuel at the same time. I would consider doing it again, kinda like a pit stop. Tom

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Thanks for the info Scott. I can't wait to see the difference they made on your Raptor. You know me, and my cheap side with this hobby, those paddles fit the bill for me.

Hey I just ordered the spindle for my Cal 5, and also ordered a hollow main shaft. I'm hoping it'll liven it up on full collective. I have the heli apart so as soon as I get the parts maybe a half an hour and it will be in the air again! I had it tuned great until I bent that spindle. Kyosho spindles need to be hardened like Hirobo. Not so perfect landings and the Cals spindle bends ever so slightly, messing blade tracking, and vibes. The Sceadu same landings and plenty of 'em and no bent spindle. Go figure. Tom

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		Lesson Learned Yesterday

I was at the field yesterday and I was flying figure 8"s and doing quite well. Well it happen and I should of known it would happen.The heli went nose in and I lost oreintation so I crashed. So the lesson I lean and I am going back to the sim to learn nose in hovering. Someone did tell me after learning tail in hovering I should learn nose in and not jump from tail in to forward flight because they said at some point that nose will turn around and look you in the face and then what. So lesson learned, jumping back to the sim.Its about a 200.00 crash.
