I have finally received the body (police) and will start converting it to R/C in a few weeks. still researching it and seeing what is going to be a nice electric frame/motor combo.

has anyone used scale 5 blade head on it yet? depending on what all is going into it i would like to try as an upgrade to the model after initial build/fly. BUT if it is to be a huge headache afterward, i may try looking into it as part of the original build.

again, just doing some research and looking to see what the current crop of electric heli frames/motors off good combination of emergency climb out power, and such. have no intentions of doing 3D with it, but would be nice to have something that can scoot away quickly if needed.

go to EBAY..

enter search criteria "1/6 HELICOPTER". there are always 2 or 3 available. and the EBAY sellers "stores" will have a few around as well. expect a rough average of 90 to 100 dollars. expemnsive for a "toy" but CHEAP compared to a full fiberglass heli shell of the same size. BARGAIN!

gets even cheaper if you get one missing main/tail blades. fin, etc...

if the part is going to be converted to R/C it shouldnt be an issue if the original part is missing/broken.

My Posts This: Topic  Forum		I have a "CIA" black verison that I am going to put up on ebay soon. I am still trying to find the tail hub and tail rotors. I purchased this a couple of years ago with the intention of putting one of my Shuttles in it. Just never got around to it. I did start to remove the interior pieces for the conversion but never finished it.

I recently assembled it to make sure I have all the parts, that's when I found the tail parts missing. However, they aren't necessary if you are converting it to R/C. I know I have them here, just need to find them.

GAU-8 is correct, ebay is the place. It is where I purchased mine and where I'll sell it.

current electric version that looks like it wuill work? and i dont mean a gasser/nitro heli, then converted to electric using existing parts. i mean straight up brand new electric heli frame and such.
