I loved my Voyager E. But JR has abandoned it. If you are new to E-helis. Get one that you can get parts for locally. If that is not an option the Swift 16 is a great heli to get into at a very low cost.

getting the Jr. Voyager E

Reason why i asked is because i traded in a Heli for the Jr. Voyager E so i had no choice in the matter..Now that i'm gettin in the mail this week is this a Heli a beginner can learn on? how is the performance..i'm gettin it used with some extra parts..U know the usual blades, gears, etc but i see there are some web sites that have Voyager parts....But my main concern is,,,is this Heli easy to Hover? or is it a real challenge......I'm not into 3D..my main interest is pretty much hovering type Flying...Also if anyone has the best web site for ordering parts, please send a like..Id appreciate it.....
I know its a older Heli but if anyone has had any good experience with this Heli, please let me know....

thanks...

Reggie

It is a great heli to learn on. Order some extra blade grips right away. They break very easily. I don't think you could get a more tame heli to learn on it's not a 3d machine its just a blast to fly. You'll have loads of fun.

Ive just built one up and its about as easy to hold in a hover as you can get, it seems very smooth but im haveing some wierd blade tracking issues, seems to fly fine and then I put the (extremely annoying to get on canopy) and the blades are out again, ive only flown it a few times so im just hoping that I had the bades too tight in the rotor grips.

If theres anyway of getting out of this deal and aquiring another heli instead I would, its not that theres anything wrong with the voyager in principle, but helis have come along way over the last few years, and in my opinion the more modern 3d capable helis are just as easy to learn on if set up right, more robust and the extra power can be a good thing if your just about to hit the ground.
Just my opinion though.
