Here's the deal:

I won a full CP combo a couple years ago and I almost had to pay someone to take it away.

I won another this past year, this time a CP-X. I decided to try to assemble it yesterday. I didn't get very far to find the conical 10T pinion missing.

If I do get it complete without smashing it with brick, what would be the most economical motor/ESC to get me started?
I don't want to go crazy here because if it don't fly well, out it goes. It came with a Nimh pack but no motor. I've got a couple Ultra-Fly motors in a box and an 18A ESC as well.
Too big?

Happy Helidays!

MScomposit is having last and final liquadation sale where you can pick up a esc and motor for $99.00 IMHO, this is great combo for CP-X. You can alos go with Hacker motor and cc 10 esc but will cost almost twice as much. Becareful going with outrunner motor because you need to modify the frame to make it fit.
