i have yet to see anyone mention the word "thunder tiger" or "raptor" at all.

So? You also haven't seen anyone say Miniature Aircraft or Fury or Sceadu or 600N or any number of other helis.

An American RC Helicopters, Inc. Revolution 40. Nice boat anchor, bad heli.

And in more recent times, JR Venture 30 CP a few years back. Another heli that would make a nice boat anchor.

Just wait until the Align nitro guys get here....(other than tchavei he has already been here)

They will tell all of us, everthing other than a trex-600n is a POS ad naseum.

And before anyone starts blasting me I think the trex is great in a lot of ways, its just some of the owners are way to fanboy.

And to add to the real question me = Walkera WOW what a POS

SCEADU my worst heli !

The SCEADU, My 3rd heli. They used phillips screws and flat nuts instead of socket heads and lock nuts for the frame. Eight of them vibrated out on first flight. They did not use a One Way Bearing which caused vibration that caused the tail push rod to disassemble on the third flight. They wanted to save a nickel everywhere they could. It flew great but vibrated to pieces by the third flight. Absolutely the WORST of my seven helis to date. I have had my 60 Ergo for 11 years. Rebuilt it twice and still fly it a few times a month.

Come on, you didn't build it right, that's not the helicopters fault. Locktite and dial indicating the start shaft would have solved your problem.

ha ha

some funny posts here

mine in order were the following

the Original Zoom400, it needed a tonne of HellieUP upgrades to it to hover, it was one of the first electric helie out and it was awful to build and setup, tiny little servo screws held the frame together..

the ohter was the NEXUS,
it built very easily, but after 4 flights parts just fell off it, and others just wore out so quickly.

Everyone knocks the raptor - craptor, but i have to say if it wasnt for the raptor 30V1 i would never have been able to afford to step in the model helli arena.

Unless I've been misinformed, I believe MA helis are manufactured in the US.

As for hated helis... all of my micros prior to the 450SE. Which included:

Piccolo FP/CP/Pro
Shogun (this had to be the biggest POS I have ever owned)
Hornet II's (had 3 of them, just could never get them to fly right)
PiccoZ (this wasn't prior but I got one and it was fun until the wire off the tail motor broke off, wasn't worth the effort to fix so I got another one and this one just stopped working after a few flights. Realizing that I spent $80 on a cheap toy, I won't be buying another (unless you could guarantee me that it would be like my first one, which flew EXTREMELY well))

M

...now where was I, dh/dt = BS-dx/dt
I will fly you forever... till earth do us part

Blades and paddles. l must agree it was junk but l won it in a raffle at a flyin. l should have took the chocolates, they would have flown better.

Flybars. Who needs `em.

Helis I regretted buying:

Shogun 400 (biggest pile of crap ever!)
MS Hornet X3D - too damn fragile
Lite Machines Corona - not fragile, but flew like crud
Trex 450 - never could get it to fly right

This hobby is like Kryptonite to chicks!
