Helis to me are like drinks for AA people.

They say "1 drink is too many, 1,000 isn't enough".

T-Rex 450XL. Great heli, but after all was said and done, I put thousands into it buying everything to make it into an SE. Should have just bought a damn SE.

Falcon, you had the collective version! I had the fixed pitch with the totally crap bluebird engine that MFA imported. I dreamed of collective, but could not justify rhe £75 for the collective convertion kit. I swear the old mechanical gyro (quest I think) had more power then that bluebird motor!

Hornet X3D.

I don't blame the bird though. I put every Duzi upgrade in the book on it but bottom line... I wasn't meant to fly micros. Nothing like the smell and sound of nitro and feeling the air being cut with at least with 600mm blades while you can hear them bend and "fart"

Kyosho Nexus

A fragile POS..It broke even in a reasonably good landing. It the tail blades touched anything but air, the main gear went to Cr@p...
Got rid of it and bought an early Raptor 30- still have it. It took the beatings to let me learn.

Hirobo Shuttle Zxx...

bought it used as my first "real" heli(had a Blade CX before that).... it was a terrible piece of sh*t. i still have it and loathe it terribly. i dumped a rediculous amount of money into it and it still flies like garbage and every time i think about the loss i'd take from selling it, it makes me sick. Hirobo has been tainted for me ever since. i know that not ALL Hirobo's are crappy, and i also realize that MANY people have had shuttles and love them, but mine was crap and i've never been able to get over it. i will likely NEVER own another Hirobo again.

All my Quick worldwide helis.

Oooh, I may want to change my answer, I blocked out my QWW heli experience. I had an EP10, and the horrible customer service and parts that never fit without dremeling will make it my last QWW mistake. The heli flew alright, but it was a tank and wasn't good for much beyond forward flight and hovering, plus due to the much deserved horrible reputation, no one in this hemisphere wanted to buy it, so I had to ship it to New Zealand.

a kyosho nexus and a trex 450x version.
the kyosho was all plastic and couldn't even get enough negative pitch for inverted hover!!

trex 450-x was a total piece of crap, blades were about 3/8 to 1/2 inch out of track all the time, and the head had about the same amount of play in it just due to the poor design.

How about a Walkera 22a, that shaft driven tail rotor was a real nightmare, the smallest bumb or vibration it would come apart.

ah quit complainin supersixtwo. It only ate your thumb. grown back since. I have to say the HDX 300. After a ton of upgrades including the all aluminum head and tail rotor assembly, it still flies like a blade cp.

one hover, remove parts, hang up. spent more $$ on that than I did my Trex450.
