The next one I buy, as that will allow my wife, my shrink, and everyone who attended my intervention to say "I told you so."

Venom Night Ranger 3d/ 22e. The worst heli a man could own. But that was back when I was a rookie. I got so fed up with it I took it up about 75 feet and buried it in the pavement, never felt so good. I swept up the carnage and threw it in the dumpster. After that bought a trex and never looked back.

Got to have my cup of heli in the morning.

"Venom Night Ranger 3d"

Interesting how some things work for some people and not for others.

I still have my Night Ranger 3D from Christmas of 2005. It has many, many flights on it (it does not get flown much these days but is still flyable).

I liked it so much I picked up the 3DXL ARF, which flies much more like a Trex 450.

worst heli's

I see someone mentioned the venture 30 cp.
I'll agree that tas it comes its substandard. Blade holders go out of track but I rectified that by fitting ones from a different manufacturer. Next thing that needed to be changed was the muffler that disintegrated on it 15th flight, luckily I was close to the ground.
Since then (5 years ago) its been the one in my fleet of five that I always practice on especially new manouvers. Its got over 500 flights on it as was especially busy this summer taking me into nose in without a serious mishap. I suppose its considered an old bird now but its definitely sorted and flies quite good with a .32 os engine.

...there a lot of happy Swift flyers in a number of forums that I know of. Ditto for a number of great videos on Youtube.

Yes, I also love mine, they just seem to fly and fly with no issues or maintenance. Here is another video, one in the stock pod & boom format. version. Seems like it is fairly windy (e.g. the wind noise from the camera mike), yet it is handling it very well:

T-Rex 450 size electric.
1st: I don't like electrics much at all.
2nd: Anything under a 600 size nitro (.50 size engine ) feels too small for me, with the 700 (.91 size engine) size feeling just right for me.

I'd sell my 450 in a heart beat if I could get more or less what I paid for her. I haven't flown her in months and currently have no plans on flying her ever again.

Wish I'd never purchased:

Trex600Npro
Trex500
Trex450SEv2
Beam E4
Protos

Wish I still had:

vbar Logo 400
Logo 500 3d
Logo 10 3d

I might move the Trex500 to the wish I still had list if the vbar Logo 400 wasn't there. I might keep the Beam too if I didn't have a mini-vbar 450pro.

My favorite helis ever:

vbar Logo 600 - current favorite
vbar 450pro - my daily flyer
vbar Logo 400
Logo 10

I wouldn't change anything I bought,

Each one of them have helped me get to where I am right now. Did I like all of them? NO!! But I have learned from them so it was always money well spent, to a certain degree. ( I don't think have a $450 CP Pro was a wise first choice :confused But I did learn from that twitchy heli and moved on to nitro's WITHOUT a glitch!!!!

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!
