My Posts This: Topic Forum | I was hired to fly their machine. I warned them about the possibility of interference and that they should buy a scanner for us to use, but they didn't want to. They wanted to fly near an industrial area and I think there was some 72mhz interference from the rc overhead cranes in nearby warehouses. We talked about that possibility, but they wanted to push ahead and do the shoot without doing any testing. It's a shame, but I could only do so much to warn them, ya know, and they took a risk and lost.
There wasn't much left of the machine. The camera was completely destroyed, literally in hundreds of pieces. I recall that the crankcase broke, most of the electronics were shot, and the only useable parts from the airframe were bolts, some bearings, and a few other parts.
Oh, and the foam noodles did survive. |
