if you look carefully you can see that the dry bearing has a type of retainer not sure whta its called but anyway you do get a ball bearing with an inner diameter to fit the starter shaft bit not an outer diameter to fit the casing so i made a sleeve to fit the outer diameter of the bearing and inner diameter of casing and it works fine

I ordered three sets of the DLR 1000 Tamiya connectors from Ricks and all three are crossed (red plugs into black). Am I missing something here? Or is this a problem?

Answered my own question.

You can relocate the inserts in theTamiya connectors as some of the more experienced might already know.

I found that a long ball link has the perfect inner dia to use as a tool. Simply push it over the probe which squeezes in the little retainer tabs and pull the probe out the other side.

The funny part here is I put them red to red and black to black on my starter. This made my starter run the wrong direction. I ended up putting them back where they originally were.

trickle charge

Couldnt you just use one plug and trickle charge both batteries overnight with your run of the mill peak charger? If you could what settings would you set your charger to if you were charging it wired parallel like this without having to separate the batteries.
